Welcome to the world of the Warrens!

The Summer of 2008 went by so quickly!!! We were busy almost every weekends and had lots of fun!

Gary has been a bum this year, taking 4 months off for back surgery in March. It was completely successful and he is 100% recoverd with no issues at all!! Woo Hoo! He still spends most of his time at Girth's Pub (aka The Basement)... a sports bar, including hi-def TV, wet bar, kegerator, and more sports memorabilia than you can stand to look at. He enjoys making homemade beer, watching any sport on TV (even tennis).
Come on over any time to watch sports and enjoy a cold beer!

Amy spends a lot of time making homemade wine, gardening, doing sudoku puzzles (they are addictive), and is on a reading jag right now. Again this year, the garden is a salsa garden... all tomatoes and 16 pepper plants!! That's what we get when Gary picks out the veggie plants. Amy is volunteering again for the Breast Cancer 3Day. She has walked it 3 times, and this is her third time on the Route Marking team! Amy is also gearing up for her first year as a Girl Scout co-leader for Madalyn's troop!! She is a little nervous and very excited about this new adventure!!
She spends most of her free time at Girth's Pub, convincing Gary to watch movies instead of sports!!

Madalyn is getting ready for 5th grade!! Her last year of elementary school!!! She is in the Girl Scouts again this year, and patiently waiting for her hair to grow one more inch so she can donate it to Locks Of Love! After getting her First Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do at Yu's Academy of Tae Kwon DO in New Baltimore, MI, Madalyn decided to take a break from that. We are very proud of her for achieving that level!! She is also in the Junior Master Gardeners club at school, and was in an article in the Detroit Free Press in June about the garden at her school. Madalyn enjoys summer day camp, swimming, camping and playing with her friends. She had an awesome time going to Camp Hawthorn Hollow (07/13-07/18) for a week again this summer!

Amanda is getting ready for 2nd grade and looking forward to another fun year in Brownies!! Amanda enjoys summer day camp, swimming, camping and playing with her friends. She had an awesome time going to Camp Hawthorn Hollow for the first time this year!
